Will my child take any field trips?
As part of our program, children will participate in off-site learning experiences. In the past, these have included; the Pumpkin Patch, farms, parks, Cobblestone Water Park, Children’s Museum of Richmond, Romp and Roll, Krispy Kreme, local post office, Williamsburg Candle Factory, Pump It Up, Mexico Restaurant, and other exciting locations.
How can I volunteer?
Parents may assist with the planning and implementation of class parties, chaperone field trips, share a career, be a guest reader, volunteer at the Fall Festival, and prepare resources for the classroom.
What enrichment activities do you provide?
Chapel, community service projects, art classes, music lessons with instruments, movement activities, and song, physical education classes, fall soccer program, Donuts with Dad, Breakfast with Mom, Noah’s Ark Day, Fiesta Party, Christmas Program, Moving Up Ceremony
What is a typical school day like?
The typical day is filled with classroom instruction, discovery time and centers, resource classes, a Bible lesson, morning and afternoon snacks, lunch, gross and fine motor activities, a rest period and free play time (both inside and outside).
How often will my teacher be available for me to discuss my child’s development?
Teachers are available daily during drop-off and pick-up time. For a more in-depth discussion, a conference day is held in the fall or you may schedule a conference at any time during the year.
